Hissele

Charming half-timbered guest house , typical and authentic, 'Hissele' is ideally nestled in the heart of Alsace, between Strasbourg and Colmar, close to the wine route and must-see places.

The spacious, air-conditioned rooms are located in a renovated former dairy farmhouse, complete with a countryside garden that respects biodiversity. The materials used and objects purchased tell a story and have been carefully chosen: low environmental impact, a focus on upcycling, artistic sensibility... not forgetting your comfort and a warm, unpretentious welcome.

Born and bred in Alsace , I love to introduce you to regional specialties at breakfast and to advise you on activities according to your interests and the seasons.
A little extra: Whether you wish to meet artisans, to do flea markets, discover gardens, attend a regional festival, eat in a good restaurant or visit a winemaker, you are in the right place.

Our village is located in central Alsace , in the beautiful Grand Ried region, close to nature reserves, the greenway (Rhône-Rhine canal cycle route) and Sélestat, a city of art and history with a rich cultural heritage.

Activities are varied, ranging from plains to mountains , and there are many exceptional towns: Obernai, Mittelbergheim, Andlau, Bergheim, Ribeauvillé, Kaysersberg, Riquewihr, Eguisheim... as well as iconic sites: Haut-Koenigsbourg Castle, Mont Sainte-Odile, and Ebersmunster Abbey. Two swimming lakes offer a refreshing respite in the summer in the neighboring villages.
